The Quiescent Music
The Quiescent Music is a solo performance dance originating in The Persuasive Sin. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Suitor of Chants. The dancer performs quickly with the music. The dance is crude.
- The dance begins with the passage of the music. This jerking section is punctuated by independent body movement and raised arms.
- The dance enters a new section with the finale of the music. The dancer performs to the gosma rhythm. There is a basic movement called the ulu. There is a series of two steps in a circular pattern with a jerking rightward bend. This section is punctuated by strong arm carriage, raised arms and passionate facial expressions.
