The Adoration of Suitors
The Adoration of Suitors is a performance partner dance which grew out of the performances of The Beige Bites. The rules of the form are applied by choreographers to produce individual dances which can be performed. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Veneration of Chants as the dancers act out The Ship of Soaking. The dancers perform in several lines. The partners dance closely, communicating intent through a light touch. This dance is a refined artform, with five special positions and nine specific moves to be mastered. The fluid sensual twisting dance is punctuated by serene independent body movement, the leg lifts of the lead and raised left arms.

- The ifife is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a high left leg lift from the lead with a high body level and a forward bend.
- The eyo is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a strong arm carriage.
- The datha is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a low body level with a joyous spin, refined independent body movement from the follower and a low leftward bend from the follower.
- The warere is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a strong clockwise eighth quarter turn from the follower with independent body movement and a partially realized hand gesture.
- The fathinu is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a strong raised left arm with a clockwise eighth turn from the follower.
- The thili is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a spirited leap from the lead with a delicate arm carriage and a sinuous counterclockwise eighth turn.
- The fomire is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a sinuous leftward bend from the follower with independent body movement, a spin from the lead and a weightless arm carriage from the follower.
