The Glitter of Glossing

The Glitter of Glossing is a solo celebration dance originally devised by the human Rismal Pokedbreach. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by The Prim Phrases. The entire dance has a basic movement called the cebela. There is a series of four undulating steps in a triangle pattern with an understated hand gesture. The dance is punctuated by flamboyant leg lifts and sharp-edged independent body movement.

• The dance begins with the theme of the music. The dancer performs quickly with the music. This expressive section is punctuated by strong backward bends and aggressive facial expressions, with large moves.
• The dance enters a new section with the variations on the theme of the music. The dancer performs faster and faster with the music. This expressive sharp-edged section is punctuated by strong clockwise eighth turns and spirited footwork.
