The Venerable Embraces

The Venerable Embraces is a group celebration dance originating in The Union of Moments. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Satin of Saffron. The dancers perform in a single line, moving slower and slower with the music. The jerking lively dance is punctuated by low raised right arms and curved walks.

• The dance begins with the introduction of the music. This section is punctuated by left leg lifts.
• The dance enters a new section with the passages of the music. This section is punctuated by sensual body level changes.
