The Festive Satin
The Festive Satin is a group performance dance originating in The Union of Moments. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by The Umber Smiles. The dancers perform in several lines turning counterclockwise. This dance is a refined artform, with four special positions to be mastered. The vigorous sinuous dance is punctuated by spirited curved walks, forward bends and large raised left arms.
- The musda is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a low body level with a sprightly leg lift, a forward bend and an expressive raised right arm.
- The uzu is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a leg lift with a sprightly arm carriage and an expressive leftward bend.
- The onaf is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a high body level mirrored by group members with a large leg lift and a sprightly forward bend.
- The agthreb is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a right leg lift with a backward bend.
