The Play of Rhythms is a participation dance originating in The Humid Volcano. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by The Petal-Lyric of Mothers. The dancers perform in a double circle turning clockwise, moving to the music's robek rhythm. The dance is punctuated by vivacious movement along the line of dance, serene runs and soft body level changes.
