The Amethyst of Luxuries

The Amethyst of Luxuries is a social partner dance originating in The Ultra-Thorns of Justifying. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Aquamarine Droplets of Silk. The dancers perform in several lines, moving quickly to the music's otoga rhythm. This dance is a refined artform, with five special positions to be mastered. The dance is refined.

• The etini is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a low body level with an understated hand gesture from the follower.
• The ile is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be an elaborate hand gesture with a high body level.
• The atha is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be a vivacious leg lift from the lead with a calm leftward bend and an undulating raised arm.
• The alo is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be an energetic raised arm from the lead with a high body level from the follower, a spirited hand gesture and an understated leg lift.
• The aveya is one of the fundamental dance positions. There should be an expressive hand gesture with a proud left leg lift, a partially realized raised left arm and a rightward bend.
