The Scintillating Rhythm
The Scintillating Rhythm is a sacred solo dance originating in The Infamous Monster. The form guides dancers during improvised performances. The dance is accompanied by any composition of The Russet Music. This dance is a refined artform, with five specific moves to be mastered. The dance is punctuated by strong leaps, flamboyant straight walks and spirited raised left arms.
- The dance begins with the theme of the music. The dancer performs slower and slower with the music. This section is punctuated by straight-lined rightward bends.
- The dance enters a new section with the variations on the theme of the music. The dancer performs quickly with the music. This section is debauched and undulating.
- The kug is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a straight-lined leftward bend with a sluggish counterclockwise eighth turn, a grotesque arm carriage and sinuous independent body movement.
- The smusm is one of the fundamental dance moves. First, there is flamboyant footwork with a powerful leftward bend and an intense body level change. Then there is an elaborate body level change with a straight-lined backward bend, powerful footwork and a clockwise eighth turn.
- The um is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is an aggressive spin.
- The snonggom is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is a sluggish counterclockwise eighth quarter turn with a joyous body level change and a proud arm carriage.
- The olot is one of the fundamental dance moves. There is an aggressive raised left arm with a low body level, an elaborate right leg lift and a spirited counterclockwise eighth turn.
