The Glittery Silkinesses

The Glittery Silkinesses is a devotional form of music originating in The Confederacy of Fur. The form guides musicians during improvised performances. The music is played on two to six vuthe and a ciro. The musical voices are purely rhythmic. The entire performance is consistently slowing. Only one pitch is ever played at a time. It is performed without preference for a scale and in free rhythm. Throughout, when possible, performers are to play staccato.

• Each vuthe always provides the rhythm and should feel mysterious.
• The ciro always provides the rhythm and should be passionate.
• The Glittery Silkinesses has the following structure: a passage and an additional passage possibly all repeated.
• The first simple passage is to become softer and softer.
• The second simple passage is to fade into silence.
