The Lost Obscurity

The Lost Obscurity is a poetic form intended to describe mist which grew out of the performances of The Tattooed Growls. The form guides poets during improvised performances. The poem is a single septet. Use of assonance and ambiguity is characteristic of the form. A form of parallelism is common throughout the poem, in that certain lines often contrast underlying meaning. Each line has five syllables. The seventh line of the septet uses the same placement of allusions as the sixth line.
