The Eagle of Fields

The Eagle of Fields is a poetic riddle intended to express pleasure with the concept of nature originally devised by the elf Masami Portentskunks. The form guides poets during improvised performances. The poem is two eighteen-line stanzas. Use of consonance is characteristic of the form. Each line has five syllables. Every line of the poem has an initial caesura. The ninth line of each stanza must expand the idea of the fifth line.
