The Saturninity of Incense

The Saturninity of Incense is a reflective poetic form concerning the future originally devised by the elf Ada Brandthunder. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is divided into a line and two sexains. Use of elision is characteristic of the form. Forms of parallelism are common throughout the poem, in that certain lines often share an underlying meaning and they use the same placement of allusions. Each line has ten syllables. Every line of the poem has an initial caesura.
