The Flute of Roses

The Flute of Roses is a solemn poetic form intended to make an apology concerning marriage originally devised by the elf Tipi Mutepearl. The form guides poets during improvised performances. The poem is seven to eight ten-line stanzas. A form of parallelism is common throughout the poem, in that certain lines have similar grammatical structures. Each line has six syllables. The tenth line of each stanza must expand the idea of the fifth line.
