The Blossom of Poets is a solemn poetic form originally devised by the elf Yarare Silkenvines. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is a single couplet. Use of consonance and simile is characteristic of the form. Each line has nine syllables. The first line is intended to describe the past. The second line is intended to move away from previous ideas concerning current events.
