The Gorge of Deserts is a light poetic form intended to describe Acithi the Summer of Flowers which grew out of the performances of The Beige Bites. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is five tercets. A form of parallelism is common throughout the poem, in that certain lines are required to maintain phrasing.
