The Snarling Moistness is a poetic riddle intended to beseech Aditha Hailedbeaches the Glacial originally devised by the elf Tise Vipertunnels. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is four quintains. Use of ambiguity is characteristic of the form. A form of parallelism is common throughout the poem, in that certain lines have similar grammatical structures. Each line has six syllables. The fifth line of each quintain reverses the word order of the first line.
