The Focus of Geniuses

The Focus of Geniuses is a light poetic form intended to describe a chosen subject originally devised by the elf Arane Lakesprestige. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is divided into a quintain and two to four brief verse paragraphs. Use of juxtaposition is characteristic of the form.

• The first part concerns the past. The third line of the quintain shares the underlying meaning of the second line.
• The second part concerns the future. Certain lines often share an underlying meaning.

• In late winter of 239, The Focus of Geniuses was created by the elf Arane Lakesprestige in Parchdusks
