The Leafy River is a ribald poetic form intended to beseech Aditha Hailedbeaches the Glacial originally devised by the elf Yawo Dunesrevered. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is a series of twelve-line stanzas. Use of assonance is characteristic of the form. The seventh line of each stanza uses the same placement of allusions as the sixth line. The rhyme scheme of the poem is ABAABABBBBAA.
