The Lark of Spraying is a reflective poetic form intended to teach a moral lesson concerning Bebmal Leapedivy, originating in The Portals of Strength. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is four quintains. Use of internal rhyme and consonance is characteristic of the form. The third line of each quintain is required to maintain the phrasing of the second line. The rhyme scheme of the poem is ABCAB.
