The Queen of Luxury
The Queen of Luxury is a reflective poetic form, originating in The Ultra-Thorns of Justifying. The form guides poets during improvised performances. The poem is divided into three distinct parts: a septet, an octet and a line. Each line has fourteen syllables.
- The first part is intended to describe the past. Certain lines are required to maintain phrasing. The fifth line of the septet contrasts the underlying meaning of the fourth line.
- The second part is intended to offer a different perspective concerning current events. The sixth line of the octet contrasts the underlying meaning of the fifth line. The fifth line of the octet is required to maintain the phrasing of the third line.
- The third part is intended to offer a different perspective concerning the future.
