The Clean Sky is a light poetic form intended to describe Nor, originating in The Nations of Competing. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is a single quatrain. Use of consonance, ambiguity and metaphor is characteristic of the form. Forms of parallelism are common throughout the poem, in that certain lines often share an underlying meaning, they often contrast underlying meaning and they have similar grammatical structures. The first line has six feet with a tone pattern of uneven-even-uneven. The second line has six feet with a tone pattern of even-even-uneven. The third line has six feet with a tone pattern of uneven-even-even. The fourth line has six feet with a tone pattern of uneven-uneven. The rhyme scheme of the poem is ABBB.
