The Prophecy of Blossoming is a dramatic poetic form intended to renounce the future, originating in The Persuasive Sin. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is three to four quatrains. Each line has eight syllables. The third line of each quatrain shares the underlying meaning of the first line. The third line of each quatrain uses the same placement of allusions as the second line. The rhyme scheme of the poem is AABA.
