The Lens of Brains is a poetic form intended to praise a chosen subject, originating in The Inky Growths. The rules of the form are applied by poets to produce individual poems which can be recited. The poem is divided into a quatrain and two couplets. Forms of parallelism are common throughout the poem, in that certain lines often share an underlying meaning and they often contrast underlying meaning. Every line of the poem has an initial caesura.
